Collette Carter @ Tritone in Philly. Sat.7/30/11

So Rod and Wilynda are Collette Carter. You know this. Maybe what you did not know is that Robmall (third person, is that appropriate?) has been third man in on practice level for over a year. Maybe closer to two. It becomes a vibed out affair without a rhythm section, really. We played once as a guitar/guitar,vox/synth trio at Fringe salon in Dec.'10. But since then, even before then really, we've been working as a five-piece in a band that also includes bass & drums (Rob & Drew). And we're takin' that leap. The first Collette Carter show as "full band" is on Saturday, July 30 at Tritone (~15th/16th & South) in Philly as part of Sugar Town. Also performing will be Arrah & the Ferns, Ang & the Damn Band, and Lady Bang Beat djs. 9pm, bands start at 10:30, half hour each. 7$, 21+.
